- How students view a target, add evidence, and submit it for review from the My Targets module on the student site.
- How to create a target against an individual student and against a group of students in bulk.
- How to track student progress towards targets using the Targets module and the Linked Evidence column.
- How to sign off or reject targets that students have marked as complete.
Add a target to an individual student
- On the staff site, use the Quick Links button at the top and search for a student by name or number to open their student record.
- Click Add Target at the top and complete the form.
- Enter a name, a required completion date, and the target type, for example a careers target.
- Optionally link the target to the learner's EHCP, relevant themes, or their My Future Careers profile, then add a description of what the student must do.
- Click Add so the student can complete it in their My Targets module.
Add targets in bulk and sign them off
- From the homepage, scroll to the number of students assigned to you, then use the top left filter to show all students.
- Apply filters such as department, course, tutor group, and campus to find your group.
- Tick the students, choose Actions on the right, select Add Target, and complete the form.
- To sign off, open Targets Requiring Sign Off from the homepage, review the evidence, then click Sign Target Off or Reject with notes.
